When author Geraldine Brooks wanted to invest in a new pool at her home on Martha’s Vineyard she researched the natural pool and found Jesse Dutra on Nantucket. Being a history novelist and an environmentalist she instinctually keeps her ear to the ground researching what would best for her back yard.

Jesse Dutra designed the pool and surrounding landscape with all native plants creating
a habitat and true natural oasis. The Natural pool and gardens consist of native boulders
found on Martha’s Vineyard and native plants for the landscape and water gardens.
