ABOUT JESSE DUTRA & FAMILY

Jesse Dutra, his wife (and best friend) Hadley, along with their three children, Jesse’s four sisters, Jesse’s Dad and Hadley’s sister and brother-in-law. These folks all love Nantucket! You could say they have a presence here.

Jesse washed ashore from Westport, MA in 1994 and has lived on Nantucket for over 23 years. He is an owner, designer, manager, husband (a good one), and father of three kids…(all under age 10!). Jesse is Nantucket Family. Ask around. He knows how to nurture family, friends and business. Leave him near your garden and see what happens.

Jesse’s enthusiasm and passion shows in his work. He constantly has his ear to the ground, learning about the newest trends and best practices in his industries. He is an artist using the elements of nature, water and stone to create his masterpieces.

BRISTOL COUNTY

SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE

Jesse’s credentials start in high school, where he attended Bristol County School of Agriculture and enrolled in arboriculture for one year and landscaping for two years. As a student of Bristol Aggie he also worked on the campus for two summers maintaining the apple orchids and, 200 + acre campus grounds. In his senior year, Jesse won 1s t place in the state award for the annual fall flower show and is an alumni of the school.

CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

Since then Jesse has earned certification as a (MCH) Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist, (CBP) Certified Building Professional by the (APSP) the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, (AOLCP), and as an Accredited Organic Land Care Professional. He is currently finishing up his (SWD), Society of Watershape Designers with the (Guinness Design Group), A prestigious design school that focuses on high end pools and landscapes.

SPECIALIZED BIONOVA & NATURAL SWIMMING POOLS TRAINING ABROAD

Jesse has trained extensively in Europe to become a (BioNova) Partner. He built the very first BioNova Natural Swimming Pool in the United States. He has designed, built and remodeled Natural Pools on Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard Cambridge and Gloucester MA

In addition Jesse currently serves as VP of (ASPNSP) Association for Swimming Ponds and Natural Swimming Pools. An association for NSPs that is affiliated with The International Organization for natural bathing waters (IOB) is the governing body of swimming pond experts.

Jesse is constantly learning, and certifying himself in the top associations in his industries to stay ahead of the curve to bring science, design, and innovated natural beauty home to his customers on Nantucket, Cape Cod, and Martha’s Vineyard.
